Raymone Posey, recently recognized as the Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year, has joined the Metro Atlanta Ambulance support services team for the summer. Raymone will be working alongside Metro Atlanta Ambulance’s Support Services Coordinator ensuring the ambulance units are stocked with the appropriate medical supplies and equipment required to respond to life threatening emergencies. MetroAtlanta President/CEO Pete Quinones is a member of the Board of Directors for the Cobb County Boys & Girls Club and hired Raymone to work over the summer because of his excellent grades, work ethic and leadership skills. Quinones stated, “I’m pleased Raymone accepted a position with our company this summer. My hope is this will be another learning experience for him and that he will better understand how the curriculum he’s learning in school translates into the everyday work environment. The job he’s performing is important to the operations of our company and requires he utilize his math and technology skills along with his common sense. He’s a terrific young man with a lot of potential to do great things and we’re excited he’s a part of our team this summer.
Raymone lives in Marietta and will be a 10th grade student at Marietta High School. He is a member of the Franklin Road Boys & Girls Club in Cobb County where he enjoys mentoring and helping the younger kids in the after school program. . After High School he plans on going to college and major in business and eventually have a career as a motivational speaker. He enjoys collecting reptiles and has several pets including an Iguana, Python and Leopard Gecko. Raymone was selected as the Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year out of more than 350 applicants.
