As many of you already know, October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
The pink ribbon has become a memorable symbol of strength and courage, representing those who have been impacted by breast cancer. The ribbon also serves as a reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness and early detection. By wearing a pink ribbon, we show support for those affected by breast cancer and help spread the message of hope.
The Susan G. Komen Breast Care Helpline provides free support and information to anyone affected by breast cancer, no matter where they are in their journey. The helpline is staffed by trained professionals who can provide emotional support and provide information about breast cancer treatments, local and national resources, and clinical trials.
The helpline also provides access to a library of educational materials to help people better understand breast cancer and its treatment options.
To anyone who has lost a loved one to breast cancer or knows someone currently battling it, please know we are here for you and that you’re not alone.
