Metro Atlanta Ambulance recognizes medics Jessia Kapka and Elizabeth Stone for their decisive actions taken to save a life.
Unit 220 responded to a medical emergency at Lassiter High School after a patient collapsed while playing soccer. A bystander quickly began CPR and continued assisting until the crew arrived. Unit 220 treated the patient on-site and then transported him to Kennestone Hospital.
Paramedic Jessica Kapka and AEMT Elizabeth Stone on Unit 220 provided exceptional lifesaving care both at the scene and during transport to the hospital.
