Pete Quinones, President/CEO with MetroAtlanta Ambulance was recognized by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce during the Cobb Public Safety Appreciation awards on September 11, 2006.
Public Safety Director Micky Lloyd stated, "Pete brought together a group of professionals and started MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service 5 years ago to meet the growing medical response needs of the citizens of Cobb County." In 5 years the company has developed from a staff of 5 employees and two ambulances into the largest private EMS service and one of the most respected in the State of Georgia with more than 200 employees and a fleet of 52 vehicles. His company has been recognized for the past 3 years as one of the top small businesses in Cobb County and numerous members of his staff have received local and state recognition for their professional services and for their work in the community.
Over the past 25 years, Pete Quinones has proven himself as a humble servant leader in the EMS industry and as a leader in the Cobb Community. The EMS industry and the community at large is better off because of the leadership of Pete Quinones and it is with great pleasure we recognize him today with this honor.
