Honoring Excellence: AEMT Chealsey Barrales and Paramedic Sidney Woltering Recognized by Cobb County Board of Commissioners

At Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service, we take pride in the dedication and compassion demonstrated by our team members every day. We are thrilled to share that Unit 217 crewmembers, AEMT Chealsey Barrales and Paramedic Sidney Woltering, were recently honored by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners with the prestigious “Certificate of Appreciation Award.”

Chealsey and Sidney were recognized for their extraordinary efforts in assisting with the care of Cobb County K-9 Officer, Chase. Their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine compassion during this challenging situation exemplify the values we uphold at Metro Atlanta Ambulance.

We are deeply grateful to Cobb County Commissioner JoAnn Birrell for taking the time to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by our crewmembers. Her support highlights the vital partnership between our organization and local officials in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

In memory of K-9 Officer Chase, Metro Atlanta Ambulance has made a donation to Cobb County’s Police K-9 Unit. This contribution will help them welcome another K-9 member to their team, continuing Chase’s legacy of keeping Cobb County safe.

Chealsey and Sidney, thank you for embodying the spirit of service and excellence that defines Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service. Your dedication makes a difference, not only to those you care for but to the community as a whole.

To all who serve alongside us, thank you for your unwavering commitment. Together, we make Cobb County a safer and stronger place for everyone.
