Jeannie Riner was promoted to Operations Manager for Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service’s new Coastal EMS division in Savannah. Riner has a BS in Biology from Georgia Southern University, a Masters of Health Services Administration from Armstrong Atlantic State University and an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy from California College for Health Science. She is also a licensed EMT-Paramedic and Level III EMS Instructor for the state of Georgia and has over 20 years experience in the healthcare and education industry. Riner served as the Director of Respiratory Care for Candler County Hospital and as an instructor at Swainsboro Technical College and Chattahoochee Technical College. She worked for 12 years as an EMT-Paramedic at Memorial Hospital’s MedStarOne ambulance service and for 5 years as an EMS operations manager in Atlanta. She also served as the Program Evaluator for the Georgia State Office of EMS & Trauma. Prior to her promotion to manage the operations of Coastal EMS, Riner was the Manager of Clinical Education and Training for MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service.
