Paulding County’s ambulance provider, MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service, donated a stretcher worth $6,500 to the Paulding Animal Control Department.
Paulding County Animal Control Sargent, Lenny Carr stated:
The donation is a real blessing and will be used to move injured animals around in the shelter as well as to retrieve injured animals out in the community. The stretcher is really going to better help us ensure the safe movement of the injured animals as well as enhance the safety for our animal control officers. MetroAtlanta Ambulance has not been serving Paulding County for long but the company has certainly demonstrated their commitment to make this community a safe place to work and live for everyone.
MetroAtlanta Ambulance Operations Manager, Karen Robinson stated, “I’m excited we are able to provide this piece of equipment for the Animal Control Officers. I know by having it, they are going to have less difficulty moving these injured animals around.”
