MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service announced today the expansion of operations into the Atlanta Southern Crescent. The services are being provided from a new facility in Jonesboro, Georgia located at 1529 Fendler Court. The new operation provides ambulance and non-emergency transportation services to residents and local healthcare facilities in Clayton, Fayette, Henry, and other surrounding counties. The expansion has created 35 new jobs in the area. MetroAtlanta President/CEO, Pete Quinones stated, “We are excited to be expanding our services in this area and excited to be able to create some new jobs for local residents. As our partnerships with local healthcare facilities in the area continue to develop we anticipate our growth to continue.”
MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service is one of the largest privately owned and operated ambulance services in Georgia providing 9-1-1 ambulance service to Cobb County since 2001.
